NOMAD TOURS TREK in BAHIA

I am Vida, a trekking guide with more than 15 years of experience with guided hiking in Chapada Diamantina, It is my passion to promote ecotourism on a holistic level. As part of Nomad Tours, it is my goal to bridge the gap of harmony between human beings and the natural environment. In doing so, we provide tours with the  emphasis of environmental preservation without contributing to the detriments of mass - tourism and capitalist profit. We use selective exchange services and mutual collaboration with the customers and the local community. These exchange services are a different way to produce, sell, buy, and trade what it takes to live — without exploiting others and destroying the environment. By building cooperation and a sense of community, we would like to provide to you a selective balance of ecotourism and knowledge about how we can interact with the environment for the good of all. The base of the Nomad Tours is located 1035m of altitude in the town of Catolés, gateway to the Peak of Barbado, the highest mountain in Bahia and in northeastern Brazil (at 2033m). The base acts as point of support for climbers or travelers who want more information about the trails in the region.
